This System was devised and developed by the founder of AcraScreed, George Owen. As a Builder and Civil Engineering Contractor, George has personally laid countless cubic meters of concrete, experimenting with numerous methods available.

As the owner of a company constantly striving to attain a high level of quality and accuracy, he found them impractical, unstable and inaccurate, and so he set about formulating his own system, AcraScreed. After years of use and modifications, perfecting all aspects of the ultimate design, the AcraScreed accessories have evolved to become the revolutionary new screed rail system it is today.

On each and every occasion, the AcraScreed System has worked perfectly, producing admirable results for his Civil Engineering Company. AcraScreed applied for and was granted a European and U.S. patent. Launched at the World of Concrete Show in Las Vegas 2006, it won the prestigious Most Innovative Product Award voted for by the attendees in the Placing and Finishing category.
